NFL Week 20 Weather & Betting Lines

Week 20 · 4 games · January 18, 2026 · Updated Jul 8, 11:59 PM ET

The Almanac's Take

Chicago is the number that jumps off the page: 19 degrees at Soldier Field with the Rams visiting and the total sitting at 49.5, which feels like a lot of football to ask from freezing hands and cold air. That's the most aggressive over/under on the slate despite the harshest conditions. Denver and Seattle are cold but wind is negligible at both — 5 mph won't move the needle on Buffalo-Denver's 45.5 or the 49ers-Seahawks 44.5. Foxborough is the mildest story, 35 degrees and nearly calm, with Houston-New England grinding under a 40.5. No dome games this week; every team is playing outside.

Methodology

Conditions and venue come from the nflverse schedules feed. Temperature and wind are shown only when forecast — they are blank (never zero) for dome/closed-roof games and for outdoor games whose forecast hasn't posted yet. The spread is shown in favorite form; a positive home line in the source feed means the home team is favored. Lines are the market's, for context — not a betting recommendation.
