Welcome to The Almanac, the only newsletter that provides premium sports betting tips completely free of charge to readers.

We have quite a few new readers today. For those not in the loop, I purchase sports tips from verified winners, that is to say, the tipsters I purchase from have a documented history of + EV bets.

The purpose of this publication is to document my experience with paid tips starting with a bankroll of $1,000 and seeing how high I can build my stack.

Just because the tips are purchased, it does not mean that they will always win - the idea is that with proper bankroll management, that over time, the positive EV bets will make us money.

If you take your entire bankroll and bet it on any particular day, you are just flipping a coin - and in my opinion this is not a good strategy for long term growth. Please keep this in mind when tailing my bets.

I try to be as transparent as possible, both by recording the previous day’s wins/losses and by tracking my bankroll further down in this document.

With that said, welcome to all newcomers, and I hope that we can have a great time together throughout this sports betting journey, and that we all make a bit of extra coin in the process.

Please always gamble responsibly and do not bet more than you can afford to lose.

The number in brackets indicates the amount of betting units to risk.

* To calculate betting units, simply divide your bankroll by a percentage that matches your risk appetite. I recommend your unit size to be 1% of your bankroll, so if your bankroll is $1,000 your betting unit is $10. Do not go higher than 2%.

The $1,000 Bankroll Challenge

The $1,000 Bankroll Challenge is where I put my money where my mouth is and bet on the same tips I share to see how high I can build a bankroll with paid tips.

Although we only won 2/5 bets yesterday, we didn’t really lose that much (we lost approx. 1 betting unit over 5 bets). Our current bankroll is $1,007.61.
